Luis Suarez is undoubtedly one of the best players at Liverpool, and he has been responsible for helping the team at least be close to the top half of the table. It has been one of the worst starts to new season by the Merseyside club.

They are currently in the 12th position with only 13 points on the board, and thinks certainly do not look to the improving on the European front as well. It has been three seasons since Liverpool last played in the Champions League, while they could be set for another season without the competition if they miss out on the top four positions this time around. Suarez has been one of the shining lights for Liverpool since joining from Ajax on a £ 24 million deal more than a year ago. Brendan Rodgers has said that he does not think bad about the abuse, but instead motivates himself using the abuse.

“I think he loves playing in English football. I speak with Luis regularly and he loves the passion and excitement of the game over here. What he is a player who is mentally very strong – as you can see from his time here the amount of stick he has taken. It is actually a driver for him. It really motivates him and he loves being at Liverpool: he loves the city, the club and the supporters so I can’t see that (being forced out) happening,” said Brendan Rodgers.
