Liverpool’s Uruguay striker Luis Suarez has said that he wants to play in the Spanish la Liga one-day. The future of Luis Suarez has been under intense doubt ever since the Uruguayan was found guilty of racially abusing Manchester United defender Patrice Evra.

The subsequent incidents that followed have only increased the pressure on the player, who has now revealed his desire to play in Spain. This is the second biggest hint his has given ahead of the crucial summer transfer window following his interview a few weeks ago when he claimed that he would like to play for French club PSG, who are currently managed by former Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti.

Luis Suarez has been a major player for Liverpool in the last 18 months after arriving at the club for just £ 25 million. He has been able to overshadow the £ 35 million British record signing Andy Carroll. He won the Carling cup with Liverpool this season and finished as the runners-up in the FA Cup. The 25-year-old’s time at Anfield, though, is not without controversy. He arrived at the club after having been ridiculed by many for his actions at the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

“I hope to play in Spain in the future, because together with the English and Italian leagues, they are the best in the world. Any player would dream of playing there,” said the striker on his Twitter account. Liverpool recently sacked their manager Kenny Dalglish, who has been a major factor in backing Luis Suarez during the whole Patrice Evra racist issue. It remains to be seen if Luis Suarez will finally decide to bring an end to his Liverpool career following the exit of Kenny Dalglish. Wigan manager Roberto Martinez is a favourite to take over from the Scot.
