Luis Suarez received a 9 match ban after biting Italy’s Giorgio Chiellini during the 2014 World Cup but the Uruguayan player has served his ban and he is now available to play with his national team for their upcoming matches.

Newly crowned Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu recently assumed post for a second consecutive term.

Even though he came into the role midway through the term following the departure of Sandro Rosell, Bartomeu has established himself firmly in the minds of the Barcelona faithful. This largely could be down to the immense successes that the club had last season under the regime of Luis Enrique.Bartomeu was the one who took the punt on Enrique despite having seen the former Barcelona captain fail at previous coaching roles like at Roma.

Oscar Tabarez dont liked Dismissal of Edinson Cavani

Uruguay manager Oscar Tabarez claims that the dismissal of striker Edinson Cavani in the recent quarter-final match against Chile has left him with a bad taste in the mouth.

The Paris St Germain striker is seen as one of the important players in the team despite not having been a regular goal scorer like Luis Suarez. He was booked twice in the game against Chile and received the marching orders just into the second-half. Uruguay were level 0-0 with Chile at the time of his dismissal and they never really recovered to reach the semifinals.
